Once upon a time we celebrated one Christmas, but this year for the de Savary family it will take place three times!

Laura loves to spend Christmas at The Old Vicarage because everything revolves around her and her friends, so she celebrates her Christmas with us the week before so Laura gets two!

Christmas Day itself will be with my ageing mother – however, she does not always appreciate that it is Christmas! Then we enjoy our “Groundhog Christmas” when the 27th of December becomes the 25th again and Father Christmas does overtime, to the glee of our three young granddaughters who have already enjoyed one Christmas at home.

Little did we know that, at our age, the magic that is Christmas could be repeated three times!
