Sensory Challenge
We had volunteers from Lincoln University give some of their time last week to help us clear an area of garden at our Dorrington home so that we can transform it into a fantastic sensory garden for all our residents to enjoy. A dozen volunteers donned their gardening gloves, grabbed a garden spade and set to work clearing weeds, rubble and debris from a dis-used part of the garden to uncover an incredible space which we will be used to grow a variety of flowers, shrubs and be home to outdoor sensory equipment. This will be an additional space for our residents to go to relax, learn, discover and grow together either as part of their NPTC course or own personal development. Here are some photos of the progress made so far and once we have finished the garden we will post lots of pictures for you to see the end result!
